Mammoth UV Upgrade kit or Far Red Upgrade Kit
Choose Your Spectrum:
Option 1: UV (uva + uvb) upgrade kit (2 bars)
or
Option 2 : 730nm Far Red upgrade kit (2 bars)
Add targeted supplemental spectrum to your Mammoth grow lights with the Mammoth UV or a Far Red Upgrade Kit.
Choose UV for targeted ultraviolet exposure or Far Red for 730nm phytochrome signaling. Both options use the same compact bar design and clip directly onto compatible Mammoth fixtures.
OPTION 1 — TRUE UV
Authentic, Targeted UV Spectrum
The Mammoth UV Kit delivers targeted UVA (400nm) and UVB (295nm) wavelengths. Controlled UV exposure can trigger plant defense responses associated with increased secondary metabolite production, including cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.
High Power, High Diode Count
100W total power • 136 diodes per bar
Many competing UV products use significantly lower power and diode counts. With UV, intensity and proper wavelength matter.
How to Use UV
For best results, we recommend using UV during the final 2–3 weeks of flowering. It can also be used during the dark period in controlled applications.
Important: Do not disrupt the plant's normal photoperiod.
Why UV?
Controlled UV exposure has been shown to:
-
Stimulate plant defense mechanisms
-
Influence cannabinoid and secondary metabolite production
-
Support terpene and resin development
-
Help plants respond to environmental stress
⚠️ More UV isn't necessarily better. Excessive exposure can stress or damage plants. Follow recommended intensity and exposure guidelines.

OPTION 2 — 730nm FAR RED
Targeted Far Red Spectrum
The Mammoth Far Red Kit delivers concentrated 730nm Far Red, an important component of natural sunlight and a key signal in the plant's phytochrome system.
Far Red works together with red light to influence plant architecture, flowering response, leaf positioning and how the plant perceives its light environment.
Why Far Red?
Adding targeted 730nm Far Red can influence:
-
Plant structure and internode spacing
-
Flowering and developmental responses
-
Phytochrome signaling
-
Leaf positioning and canopy structure
-
Light-use efficiency when combined with red wavelengths
The Red + Far Red Relationship
Far Red isn't simply "more red."
Plants respond to the balance between red and Far Red, which is one reason natural sunlight contains both wavelengths.
The Mammoth Far Red Kit allows growers to add targeted 730nm Far Red to their existing full-spectrum lighting without changing the primary spectrum.
How to Use Far Red
Use Far Red as supplemental lighting alongside your primary full-spectrum fixtures.
It can be used throughout the flowering cycle or during specific portions of the light cycle depending on the desired plant response.
Monitor cultivar response, as Far Red can influence stretch and plant architecture.

Mammoth Lighting
Most grow lights focus on PPFD and efficacy.
Mammoth looks at the entire spectrum—and how plants respond to it.
Choose UV when you want targeted ultraviolet exposure.
Choose Far Red when you want to add a targeted 730nm signal.
More control over your spectrum. More control over your grow.
