A 2024 study published in Frontiers in Plant Science found that white light with dual red peaks at 640nm and 660nm increased inflorescence yield and light-use efficiency compared with white light using a single 660nm peak. At higher PPFD, the dual-red treatment also increased terpenoid concentrations.
